Year 6 Retreat Day 

 

Year 6 enjoyed a reflective Retreat Day at Christ the King Church with Father John and Tammy from our Trust. The purpose of the retreat was to give the children time to reflect on their journey through primary school and to look ahead with confidence and excitement to the next stage of their education as they prepare for secondary school.

Throughout the day, the children took part in a variety of activities that celebrated their individual talents, gifts and unique qualities. They also enjoyed fun games and opportunities to spend quality time together, creating lasting memories with their friends and peers at St Joseph's Primary School.

The retreat concluded with a beautiful Mass, led by Father John, giving everyone the opportunity to come together in prayer and thanksgiving as they marked this important milestone in their school journey.

Celebrating their talents and unique qualities through different activities. They created a Year 6 jigsaw puzzle with each child completing one piece all about them. Tammy alsogave them all some wonderful advice to just be their wonderful, unique selves and to not worry about what other people may think.
