Make a Difference Day
Some of our Year 6 children were invited to attend a St Francis Trust event at St Bernard's High School. The Make a Difference Day brought together schools from across the Trust to support local charities. Each school donated a hamper of food and baby essentials, which will be given to a local food bank.
The children enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the morning. They began with fun team games before taking part in a crafting session, where they worked together to create a beautiful floral wreath that will be donated to a local hospice. They also participated in an energetic dance workshop and an African drumming session, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed.
The day concluded with a beautiful Mass led by Father John, with Mr Edge providing the music. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to come together in faith and friendship while making a positive difference in the local community.
