Before (Breakfast Club) and After School Provision

Due to a rise in staffing costs and food prices, the price of our Breakfast Club will be increasing from the beginning of next term - Monday 8th January. From January, the cost will be £3.50 per day, per child (£3.00 if your child is in receipt of free school meals.) The price of breakfast club includes breakfast and a drink for every child; up to an hour of child care with fun resources and games, ran by our school staff who are familiar to the children.
Breakfast Club
Our school breakfast club is a well established, drop in provision, managed and staffed by the school's Teaching Assistants.
Launch of After School Provision
St Joseph’s School is pleased to be able to provide the children of our school the opportunity to attend After School Provision from September 2023.
These sessions may be attended on a full time or a part time basis. The sessions can be booked in blocks over extended periods of time or as and when required.
Places are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Any booked sessions will be charged for unless cancelled within the notice period stated in the policy.
Opening Hours and Fee Structure
St Joseph’s Breakfast Club:
- Is open term-time only with sessions running from 7:45 am, with breakfast being served up until 8:15 am.
- Will be closed during the holidays including bank holidays and INSET days
- Until the end of December 2023 - The fee for the full session (7:45-8:45) is £3.00 and is inclusive of breakfast and a cold drink (£2.50 for pupils in receipt of Free School Meals)
- From January 2024 - The fee for the full session (7:45-8:45) is £3.50 and is inclusive of breakfast and a cold drink (£3.00 for pupils in receipt of Free School Meals)
- Sessions are based on a drop in basis and do not need to be pre-booked
St Joseph’s After School Provision:
- Is open term-time only with sessions running from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
- Will be closed during the holidays including bank holidays and INSET days
- From 27th November 2023 - There are 2 options for after school provision
- Collection before 4.30pm - £4.00 including a drink and a small light snack (biscuit/fruit) and a led planned activity
- Collection between 4.31pm and 5.30pm - £7.50 - (a drink and light meal will be provided – beans on toast, crumpets, toasted sandwiches etc served at 4.45pm).
- Session offer is only guaranteed if booked in advance via our online ParentPay service and can only be booked if your account is in credit.
Please inform school if you are going to be late to collect your child. If collecting after 5.30 pm, late collection charges apply (see policy).
Bookings
All sessions at After School Provision are to be booked in advance via the booking form below. The booking form below MUST be completed and your ParentPay* account in credit before your child(ren) can attend. Your child will be allocated to the provision on ParentPay once an initial booking has been made.

Cost
£4.00 - collection before 4.30pm
£7.50 - collection up to 5.30pm.
Payment
All payments for After School Provision are made via ParentPay or with childcare vouchers. Please make sure you keep your ParentPay After School Provision account in credit.
