Welcome back to our new school year. I hope you had a wonderful summer! I am sure 2019-2020 is going to be a great year at St Joseph’s. The children have made an excellent start to the school year
This morning, we started the year with a Gospel Assembly. This week our assembly message is: “All who exalt themselves shall be humbled, and all who humble themselves will be exalted.”
The children listened to this week’s Gospel and then thought about what the word ‘humble’ means. The children shared times when they hadn’t been as humble as they should have been, and talked about what they can do next time to act in a more humble way. I have asked the children to come and see me if they notice anyone acting in a humble way. Please encourage them to share any examples from home too.
