Indian Workshop Day - Autumn Term (2) 2021
The pupils at St Joseph's had a day focused around Hinduism including storytelling around the festival of light assembly, Diwali, dressing up in traditional Indian clothing, creating Rangoli art work and an overview of Indian lifestyles and culture and how to challenge stereotypes.
Year 3 working hard to create beautiful pieces of Rangoli artwork as part of our Indian Theme Day.

Year 2 had a fantastic assembly with Rabbi Zvi this afternoon who has taught us all about the importance of Shabbat in the Jewish faith. We have learned some really interesting facts; ask at home what we’ve found out this afternoon.
Year 5 2021
The children enjoyed the virtual visit of a Rabbi to talk to them about the Jewish faith. They listened to stories which challenged the children to think about their own responsibilities at times and how they treat others. They were able to answer questions about this when asked, reflecting and considering choices they make themselves in their own lives.
