This week’s gospel message is: Go sell everything you have and follow me.
The children listened to this week’s gospel message and discussed how Jesus said, “It is harder for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God than it is for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.”They thought about how this story reminds us that having lots of money is not what life is about and Jesus is trying to teach us that treating people well is more important than what we own.
Finally, we considered ways we could be generous to those around us in school this week, by sharing and looking after each other.
