Anyone who is not against us, is for us
The children listened to this week’s gospel and discussed why Jesus said “anyone who gives them a cup of water to drink, because they are his disciples, will be rewarded in heaven.”
We discussed how Jesus was sending out the disciples to spread his word. They had to leave their homes and their families behind and they had to rely on other people to welcome them and to share with them, so that they could live.
The children have thought about how they can help others this week. We will celebrate this on Friday with mass, dressing brightly to help CAFOD, and donating food for the food bank.
