At St Joseph’s, we start each week with a Gospel Assembly and share a Gospel Message. This week’s message is: You must take up your cross and follow me.
The children discussed the answers Jesus’ friends gave when he asked them, ‘who do you think I am.’
After, we discussed the times they have been afraid and have needed courage. The children have thought about what it means to follow Jesus, and how they will ‘take up their cross’ this week to follow Jesus.
