St Joseph's School - A Catholic Voluntary Academy

Children's University

St Joseph's will now be participating in the Children's University.  The Children's University (CU) is a national charity that award certificates to children who spend time engaged in positive extra-curricular activities.

On 15th October, Miss Walker from Children’s University came in to complete the first count of the CU Passports. Your CU passport can be used at a range of locations across Doncaster, including all of your in school extra-curricular activities. Please encourage your children to bring in their passports to get signed when they attend before and after school clubs. The children receive certificates for the hours they accrue, and any child who receives a certificate is invited to a special graduation ceremony at The Doncaster College later in the year.

It is really easy for clubs to sign up to be a Children’s University Provider. All the club needs to do is complete a short online form. https://www.childrensuniversity.co.uk/get-involved/learning-providers/ - any activity completed can then be added to the children’s passports.

Replacement passports will be available from the office (£3)

We will send out more information about Children’s University over the term.
